The Department of Special Education oversees all programming for students eligible for services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act. Special Education services are provided to all eligible students through a continuum of options beginning with the least restrictive and progressing as appropriate toward more restrictive environments. The Department of Special Education also oversees all home-bound education services.
